

Byron Bay is a special place for both of us. Over the past decade, we’ve shared many memories with family and friends in this area – in the hinterland, by the beach, and in the ocean. We look forward to celebrating our wedding here, and having a lovely time with the people we care about the most.

What is the dress code?
Black tie is encouraged.
Where should I stay?
We recommend staying in Byron Bay.
When should we arrive at the venue?
Guests will be welcomed with drinks from 2.00pm. The ceremony will begin at 2.30pm.
What is the order of events?
ARRIVAL | 2.00pm
THE CEREMONY | 2.30pm to 3.00pm
COCKTAILS & CANAPÈS | 3.30pm – 5.00pm
SPEECHES & DINNER | 5.10pm – 7.15pm
DANCING | 7.20pm – 10.00pm
BUS DEPARTS | 10.00pm
How should I arrive?
The Love Bus will transport guests to and from the venue. Details below. Please be aware there is no parking at Fig Tree.
What food will be provided?
Canapes and a sit-down dinner.
What drinks will be provided?
Wine, beer, and a selection of cocktails.
How long will the ceremony be?
The ceremony will run from 2.30pm to 3.00pm.
When are group and family photos?
Immediately following the ceremony.
Can I bring a plus one?
We are regrettably unable to extend invitations for plus ones. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
Are children welcome?
Although we love your little ones, please note our wedding will be for adults only.
Should I bring a gift?
We are so grateful for everyone making the effort to come to Byron Bay to celebrate with us. We will have a wishing well if you would like to contribute.
Will you be having a recovery?
Yes, details to come – will be a casual get-together on Sunday around 11am in the Byron area.




We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Our wedding dress code is Black Tie Encouraged, keeping in mind that our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors.
For men, we suggest a tuxedo or dinner suit with tie and jacket. For women, midi to floor length dresses are encouraged, with alternatives including pantsuits.
It may get cool at night – Byron Bay averages 14 to 20 degrees in June. Please consider bringing a coat if you feel you may get cold.


To the wedding
1.35pm – Bus departs Byron Surf Club (20 Bay St)
1.40pm – Bus departs Shirley St bus stop (opposite 35-37 Shirley St).
2.00pm – Bus arrives at Fig Tree.
From the wedding
9.45pm – Bus returns to Fig Tree.
10.30pm – Bus departs to Byron.
